Discovering Regenerative Business

What are we doing?
That's my brothers lament. Our culture is in trouble! The national discourse is non existent. If companies behaved like our politicians are doing they would be just as dysfunctional.  We are seeking out businesses that are doing interesting things with their company culture. The Agile community has taken the reins in formulating processes and procedures that make business relationships work. I want to share these. The Bioneers were started when Kenny Ausubel and Nina Simons realized that many, many people were doing amazing things to make the planet healthy, but no one knew about anyone else. The Bioneers is an annual conference that pulls together people world-wide who are actively working on making the global shift happen. I'm not intending to do annual conferences, but I DO want to become a voice and connector for those business people who are making heroic changes in their organizations. Culture is the hidden key to business success in chaotic times. Culture is key to effectively pursuing sustainability. People who are actively engaged and committed to sustainability and who recognize that a robust and creative culture is necessary to do that effectively. Culture is key to innovation and exemplary customer service (Zappos), but it is not easy to achieve. Dan Mezick makes the point that you can start with meetings, and his book Culture Games, provides the tools to help you do just that. Start your culture change with meetings!

The key word is 'discover.' I am seeking contacts, recommendations, suggestions and introductions to people and businesses YOU know that everyone else should know about too. I will interview them and video their companies and share those on my blog: Sustainable-Intelligence and on my podcast, Sustainable-Intelligence. This is nothing fancy, everything will be done with my iPhone, but the important thing is to get the word out, to share ideas and processes so the change will happen faster and more powerfully!
